A Back-Translation is a translation of the originally translated materials (e.g., your marketing materials from English into French
for France) by a team of language professionals back into English.
A Back-Translation enables you to “read” the original translation
and see how closely it reflects the content of your source
materials.



“For Informational Purposes Only” Translations

Translation For Informational Purposes Only is usually recommended for legal documents to be translated into English under a very sensitive timeline. This service is only recommended when there is insufficient time for performing all necessary steps of the translation process (translation, editing, proofreading, quality control) and you understand that the translated product you will receive can be used for informational purposes only or/and as a reference only. Under no circumstances is an “FIPO” translation suited for any kind of publication. Should you require and take advantage of this service, we always recommended that a finalized translation be sent to you
at a later date.

On-Site Language Services/Document Review

We understand that at times you may require a language professional to work on-site at your location. You may have boxes of documents in a foreign language and need to determine which of them are important to the case you are working on. Or maybe you have changes to your foreign language documents that need to be incorporated immediately in your presence. Whatever the case may be, we can arrange to have experienced language professional(s) work on-site at your location or accompany you to another site.

Publication Quality Translations

Publication Quality Translation is a translation that incorporates all of the available stages in the translation process (translation, editing, proofreading, quality control), as well as an additional cycle of proofreading performed by a native language professional (usually an editor or proofreader). This service is designed for materials intended for publication and/or dissemination and ensures that the translated materials achieve not only maximum accuracy but also maximum effectiveness (in the form of cultural appropriateness, latest terminology/jargon, etc.).

Summary Translations

A Summary Translation is created in the event that you do not require a full translation of an entire document but need to familiarize yourself with the document’s content. A Summary Translation can be very concise or more descriptive, depending on your needs. This service can also be used instead of the On-Site Language Document Review (see above) in order to determine which documents you would like to have fully translated.
